Classic Port Vila Hotel

Loved the lap pool overlooking the lagoon! The restaurant is lovely, too, with great food. The staff are very polite and helpful. It's good that you get the option of being able to pay via a bank transfer.

The only thing I didn't like was having no air-conditioning/a decent ceiling fan in the room! The windows are only good if there is a breeze, and the ceiling fans didn't really get a good breeze going at the highest speed. It made for a hot nights sleep.

Recommend

The pools were nice. We had a private plunge pool but the neighbours could see in if they looked, which is fine as they didn’t. Food was great. Location also good. Buses go past regularly (they have the B on the plates and only cost 150vu per person)

As mentioned the private plunge pool could have been more private. Some rooms you could see right in to though. Also the workers take breaks in the gardens very close to the bungalow which is fine but they can see you.

Amazing place with beautiful garden,lovely pools and very nice&helpful stuff.

Light breakfast, but very nice, we love especially home made croissants.Location is great for people who prefer to stay out of busy town,but it's very easy to get a driver and be in the centre in 5 mins.We were so happy to enjoy beautiful garden, lovely pools and calm atmosphere of the resort.

Wonderful resort - would certainly return

I loved the setting in beautiful tropical gardens. Spacious bungalow, super comfortable bed, excellent shower. Small kitchen area in the bungalow was useful - sink, fridge and kettle provided. Polite and friendly staff.

It would be great to see some vegan food options on the dining menus please. The surrounding streets may feel a bit uncomfortable to walk around at night as there is no lighting and they are quite quiet streets.

Very Good

Convenient location, reasonably close to to town but still quiet and private. Ken the bus driver who was often at the apartments was extremely helpful. Gardens lovely. Enjoyed having private plunge pool and view of lagoon. Found communication when booking efficient, answered our questions promptly. Staff at resort always helpful.

Overall enjoyed our stay,as previously mentioned lighting a bit dim and paying for air conditioning even though we didn’t need to use it every day.

Very Good

Loved the hill top views and villa layout. It was also a perfect location to catch the evening breeze. Special mention to dinner time cooking team. The meals were delicious and well priced. Lovely combination of freshness, texture and flavours. Presentation was also of a high standard.

A lovely relaxing stay with excellent customer service.

The staff were lovely and extremely helpful for all our enquiries that we had during our stay. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The massages were excellent. There are good facilities at this resort such as several pools and a tennis court. The resort is adult only so there are no children around and it has a very relaxing vibe.

The breakfast that you get included with your booking is quite misleading. It is a 'light breakfast' option meaning its only toast, fruit and muesli and you have to pay extra for a proper breakfast. The hotel restaurant is quite expensive. The phones in the rooms don't work and they don't tell you this until you try and use the phone so you can't call for room service, reception or security. There was a fair bit of mold in the shower.

A lovely tropical getaway.

The view from our bungalow was stunning. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Always ready to greet you with a big smile. The gardens are very well maintained and adds a very nice tropical atmosphere. The pools are nice and well maintained. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

Le restaurant est vraiment excellent ! Nous nous sommes régalés , il a y a du choix et un plat du jour ce qui permet d’y manger souvent. Beaucoup de choix également pour le petit dej. Les 2 piscines sont très appréciables .

Tous les bungalows ne sont pas équipés de clim et cette option est payante , il faut donc être prévenu pour ne pas déçu.

« Notre 1er séjour dans cet établissement en 2019 était au top. Personnel au restaurant à améliorer. »

Le service au petit-déjeuner était beaucoup trop long. Vous devez attendre au moins une demi-heure pour qu'une serveuse vienne prendre votre commande, ensuite vous devez attendre encore le même temps si ce n'est plus pour avoir votre café qui arrive sans l'omelette par exemple (ou le contraire, vous avez les oeufs sans le café). Ce sont les clients (qui ont en marre d'attendre qu'on vienne leur donner la carte) qui se déplacent pour récupérer la carte et qui ensuite vont passer commande directement au bar. L'attente est beaucoup trop longue...

La qualité des plats servis au restaurant

Resort vieillissant qui devrait être mis à niveau par des investissements incontournables. Notre douche ne fournissait pas d'eau chaude, dans le jardinet était présent un vieux filtre de piscine !!! Attention, en cas de modification d'arrivée (arrivée une journée plus tard à cause de Air Vanuatu coutumier du fait), vous paierez tout de même la nuit.

« A éviter le mois de Mars - Période cyclonique »

Le cadre, l'équipement de l'appartement et la piscine privative. La gentillesse du personnel et le restaurant qui est excellent.

-Clim payante. -L'appartement a besoin de travaux et pas de propreté approfondie : poussières sur les brasseurs d'air, les toiles d'araignée sur les murs, placards et tableaux et la cuve des WC qui est de couleur noir. - Pas de groupe électrogène lors de la coupure de courant pendant les cyclones jumeaux Judy et Kévin (pas d'électricité pendant 4 jours)et limite des services du personnel- A éviter la période de Mars
